Hey everyone! I’m heading to Lagos soon and heard about a secret beach near Ponta da Piedade. Does anyone know how to get there? Is it worth the hike?

Definitely worth it! You’ll want to start from the lighthouse; there’s a somewhat hidden path from there. It's not too hard to find if you look for a small sign. The views are incredible!

Awesome, thanks! How long does the hike take? And is it okay to go with kids?

It takes about 15 minutes to get down to the beach. The path is steep in parts, so might be a bit tough for younger kids or if you’re carrying a lot of gear.

Bring water, some snacks, and definitely wear good shoes. And don’t forget your camera – the rock formations and the water color are out of this world!

Sounds amazing! Is it crowded?

It can get a bit busy in the late mornings and early afternoons, especially in summer. I’d suggest going early in the morning if you can.

Perfect! Early morning it is. Can you swim there, or is it more for the views?

Oh, you can swim there alright. Just be mindful of the tides and currents. It’s safe most of the time, but always good to double-check.
